The holidays are here, and we know you're dreaming of crab-filled feasts! Here's the scoop:

Holiday Hours:

• 12/24 (Christmas Eve): 9 AM – 2 PM
• 12/25 (Christmas Day): Closed (we're off cracking crab shells with family!)
• 12/31 (New Year's Eve): 9 AM – 2 PM
• 1/1/25 (New Year's Day): Closed

Crab Availability:

Dungeness Crab is HERE! 🦀💥 Sweet, tender, and the first of the season.

This batch comes from Washington, where the season opened before ours. Prices are higher right now due to market limitations, but we took the leap to bring these beauties in so our community could enjoy them just in time for Thanksgiving. We think you’ll agree—they’re worth it!

We’re grateful for your support and can’t wait for our local season to start so we can support our local crabbers again.

Attention, crab lovers! 🦀 We’re all eagerly awaiting the CDFW’s update in a few days about the opening of commercial crab season. While there have been delays in some areas due to environmental shifts, local sources report that the abundance of Crab is promising, and we’re optimistic we’ll have a fresh catch ready for you just in time for the holiday season.

The 2025 Dungeness Crab season is right around the corner and excitement is building in the Santa Cruz community! A few days ago, the CDFW announced that the recreational Crab season is set to open November 2nd, but that commercial crabbers likely won’t get the green light until early December.

You may remember our updates early last year about delays to the seasoning opening in an effort to keep our sea friends safe 🐋and preserve the health of marine life. While we are seeing similar delays this season, we’re hopeful that we’ll still have plenty of fresh, local crab to offer once commercial harvest begins.

We’ll continue to ensure that our local waters and ecosystems remain protected while still bringing you that delicious Dungeness Crab that you know and love.
