Dungeness Crab is first come first served
Fun fact! This crab is named after the town of Dungeness, Washington, where itβs a prized shellfish. Dungeness crab is one of the most valuable fisheries on the West coast and also the most abundant crab in California. Its meat is tender and juicy with a sweet, mild taste. Itβs honestly superb on its own, but you can also kick it up a notch with some lemon, herbs, and butter, or make your own crab cakes at home!
Safe to eat raw?
We recommend eating Dungeness crab cooked and we usually sell them freshly cooked or live. Itβs nearly impossible to eat raw crab anyways, given the moisture-dense meat that makes it difficult to separate it from the shell!
How to cook
Steam, Boil, Roast
