Local King Salmon season has ended. You can still find Frozen at Sea (FAS/Fresh Frozen) King Salmon, Coho, and Sockeye frequently at our shop.

Local King Salmon has arrived! 🐟🙌🏽 We have them available at our main shop in the Santa Cruz Harbor.
🚨 Heads up! The season will operate similar to how it was last year (2021) with temporary closures. Please see the information below for the opening and closing dates this season.

The Monterey Bay (local) King Salmon season will be split similar to how it was last year. The commercial dates and regions are listed below.
PIGEON POINT TO U.S./MEXICO BORDER
- May: 1-5, 10-15, 20-24
- June: 1-12
- July: 8-12, 21-25
- August: 3-12
PT. ARENA TO PIGEON PT. (SAN FRANCISCO)
- July: 8-12, 21-25
- August: 3-12
- September: 1-30

Local King Salmon season will open May 1st! 🎉🐟 We should have local King Salmon that afternoon. Stay tuned for more information.
April 4th, 2022
You may see folks catching salmon, but the season is currently only open to sport fishermen.
We have not been given an exact commercial opening date yet. We do expect the season to be short this year. Stay tuned!
