They are raised via suspension method which creates a one-of-a-kind oyster that's plump, juicy, and bursting with a sweet aftertaste. This method ensures that they never come into contact with mud, sand, or silt. This unique approach produces an oyster with a consistently clean taste and texture that's unrivaled by any other oysters grown in California.
Thanks to the constant water flow, the nutrient-rich algae that is the oyster's food source is plentiful, and the gentle upwelling and tumbling from water movement produces a firm shell with a deep cup. This results in a perfectly sized and meaty oyster that's ideal for any seafood platter, fancy dinner party, or even just a quick snack.
